A graduate of TPI, Anthony is an accredited psychotherapist and psychosexual therapist, holding qualifications in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (TPI/DCU), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TCD) and Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy (Tavistock Relationships). He is accredited with IAHIP, IACP, COSRT, ICP, and is an accredited consultant with EMDR All-Ireland. Anthony’s clinical work is integrative and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. 

Anthony’s professional journey began in education, working as a secondary school teacher before transitioning into psychotherapy. He continues to work as a guidance counsellor in a school setting alongside his private practice. Anthony also works part-time as an Associate Lecturer in Psychology and Counselling with the Open University. Anthony has been a member of both the Governing Body of IAHIP and the board of EMDR All- Ireland from 2021-2025. 

A committed lifelong learner, Anthony recently completed a diploma in supervision (ICPPD) and is passionate about supporting therapists in reflective, ethical, and creative practice. Anthony has a particular interest in gender, sexuality, and trauma. He is currently completing doctoral-level training in counselling psychology with the British Psychological Society, and has recently completed research exploring therapists’ experiences of working with Trans and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) clients.
